Stuck On Her
Before you start reading this story, have you read the one that came before it? In Due Time.
The next morning, Ryan woke up underneath the coffe table. Sitting up, he looked from one person to the next, before realizing that Jade and Carter were missing. Jumping up from his spot on the floor, he embarked on a mission to find them. Doing his best not to look too suspicious, he headed to the kitchen; they weren’t there. Turning around, he began to make his way to the staircase when Chase stopped him.
“You know, for someone who claims not to be stuck on Jade, you sure have a funny way of showing it.” Chase laughed as he leaned against the doorframe.
Whipping around, Ryan looked at Chase.
“Shut the fuck up. Shouldn’t you be talking to Liv? Her and that freak seemed quite cozy the other night.” Ryan spat coldly.
“You’re a sad fuck. You know that?” Chase said, before poking his tongue against his cheek.
Ryan let out a laugh.
“Yeah, says the guy letting some freak show steal his bitch.” Ryan said.
Chase’s nostrils flared as his fingers curled into fist.
“You watch your mouth. I’m not the one lying to myself and everyone around me. You can call Jade a whore and talk about how easy she is to bed all you want but we all know you’re still hurting about her taking Ricky to bed. You can-”
Chase’s sentence was cut short as Ryan shoved him back into the refrigerator and pinned his forearm against Chase’s neck.
“Why don’t you shut the fuck up, huh? You run around here like you know shit, you don’t know shit Chase. Stick to making sure that freak doesn’t steal your bitch eh? How about-”
Ryan’s sentence was cut short as Chase shoved Ryan, causing him to stagger backwards. Then, stalking forward, Chase was about to get in Ryan’s face when the kitchen door swung open.
“Why are you assholes still here?” Chelsea asked, looking back and forth between the two men.
Chase stared at Ryan long and hard for a moment before turning to face Chelsea.
“I was just leaving.” He said, slipping past her.
“You should follow him.” Chelsea said, nodding her head in the direction of the back door.
”Nah, I’m good.” He said, turning towards the fridge.
Ryan was only able to open the refrigerator about a centimeter before Chelsea forced it close again.
“Ryan that wasn’t a suggestion. Get the fuck out of my house.” She said, giving him a deathglare.
Realizing she wasn’t messing around, Ryan released his hold on the fridge handle.
“Tell Jade to call me. We need to talk.” He said.
Chelsea rolled her eyes.
”Alright, whatever. Now leave.” She said, pushing him towards the door.
After throwing an ‘I’m serious’ over his shoulder, Ryan allowed Chelsea to push him out the door.
